Yesterday we went on a tour of the city via boat- we cruised the Bosphorous to get the most panoramic view of the city. Quick and cool history bite is that on one side is Europe and the other is Asia- a bridge connects the two. So, I ask- if you cruise down the middle via river- what continent are you technically on? Think about it...
We also visited Topkapi Palace yesterday where the highlight was the Harem- yes, a Harem. No, I, nor Jenny or Chan are part of the Harem, we just merely visited around and told the Sultan to keep his hands off! Just kidding- the era of the Sultan ended almost 200 years ago. :)
