Istanbul

Well, we're in Istanbul now and having some serious fun! This city is awesome, kind of like San Francisco in that there is water everywhere. However, the mosques and castles are unlike anyting we've seen before. We went today to the Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque, which are only like 5 mins from our hotel. See the pics above (not ours, but a better shot of the whole thing). The blue mosque is the largest in the world, and the Hagia Sophia was at one time the center of the church for all of the Roman empire. They are both pretty incredible.

Also, we've been joined by more friends. We've joined forces with Dave King, Jennifer King, Chris Harris, and Stephen Houghton. We'll introduce them properly in a later blog. For now, we're off for a walk and a sunset dinner somewhere sweet...
